The current tilemap feature works nicely, but it would be great to have more control. Could an advanced tilemap mode be added as an option? Features I'd be looking for would include:
Tilemap editor to allow you to choose which characters make up the tile.
Allow re-use of same characters
Set unique colours per character in the tilemap
Export option for tilemap and tilemap char colours
