I'm not satisfied with any website design that exists today. My own website is my attempt so far to design a good simple site, but there are still parts I don't like, e.g. how it handles large tables. Distill looks good but I don't want to write in an idiosyncratic HTML format. I think Medium and LessWrong 2.0 (and GreaterWrong) are gesturing toward something similar to what I want, but I don't like either of them too much. For me, the ideal output would be a Pandoc template with a CSS stylesheet so that I could write in Pandoc Markdown.
