Request to add HRRR and NAM_NEST_CONUS to met_type options #35

Hi Richard, Thank you for such a great tool- it makes trajectory analysis very easy.

Can you please add "HRRR" and "NAM_CONUS_NEST" to met_type options? I would really appreciate it.

Thank you! -Ellie

Thanks for the suggestion! Adding this to the list of things to do.

Hi, Richard, First of all, thank you so much for improving this package! However, when I run this updated 'splitr', I get this weird error on my mac. And I couldn't find a solution else where. Could you let me know what I can do to fix this? This is a screen shot of the error.

And while I was waiting for this update on 'splitr', I actually manage to write a script myself to collect meteorological data in bulk based on your original code on 'SplitR' posted a few years ago. It runs just fine on Mac. However, when I switch to Windows, in the middle of running, I will almost always get this error: Error in file(file, ifelse(append, "a","w")): cannot open the connection in addition: Warning message: can not open file '.../CONTROL': Permission denied'. Could you let me know how did you circumvent that please? Thank you!

I am getting the same error running splitR on Windows. Was this ever answered or did anyone find a solution?

So, can we use hrrr for daily simulation of trajectory? Or are there other types of meteorological data that can be used for daily trajectory simulations? So the latest simulation can be done. Thank you in advance.
