Intermittent Sound Problem #244

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Is random, some times when you turn the computer the sound device is not 
detected.

What netbook are you using this on?
Dell Mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No sound device detected

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using 0.8.4 RC1 with Mac OS X 10.6.3 (also had same problem with 10.6.2).

Please provide any additional information below.
It was ok until i installed 0.8.4 RC1, sometimes the sound device is detected 
and runs fine others 
it doesn't and you usually have to restart to get it to work.
