NBI 8.4 RC1 - Hide Partition feature not working #257

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.edit the apple.com.plist to hide certain partitions
2.Reboot
3.All partitions are still there in the chameleon bootloader

What netbook are you using this on?

Samsung GO N310

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the partition to be hidden when I hide it. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

10.6.3 Snow Leopard

Please provide any additional information below.

I do understand how to properly hide partitions as I have done this with no 
issues with other 
versions of Chameleon Bootloader on other machines. I have tried including 
hd(0,X) all the way 
up to (3,16) in a huge list. It ignores it. I even tried using the Chameleon 
pref pane and it 
confirms the partitions that I am hiding.

The version of chameleon included doesn't support this feature.

I tried to update to the latest chameleon and found out the hard way that it 
won't 
work. Is there any safe way to update the included version of chameleon to one 
that has 
this feature?
