can this be merged with shadowsocks into one piece of UI?

I may consider this in the future, but not at the moment since this can be very time consuming

is the windows version of the client different from the java version ? and why would it take that much time if it;s a matter of merging two codes together/.. sorry im not a coder

The Windows version actually has the java version inside. I'm not able to merge the two applications together currently since it takes considerable amount of time to read through the code for shadowsock and it's even harder to modify it... But I'm still in highschool and I got work to do so :(
