Review HWG before release #543

Before the release is pushed to Apple please review HardwareGrowler code just 
to get another set of eyes on it.

code has been reviewed, heapshot analysis and memory growth have been looked 
into. I believe we've got this mostly 95% under control, there is still room 
for improvement with the preferences window. but the monitors themselves, 
absent configuration UI are solid at this point.

waiting for the next beta to go out before closing this ticket out.
