HardwareGrowler 2.0 Not Notifying on Network Changes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn network off
2. Turn network back on

What is the expected output?
Expect to see Notification about network

What do you see instead?
Does not show any notification. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HardwareGrowler 2.0 and Mountain Lion 10.8.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Tested with both Growl active and just using Notification Center.

What kind of network interface are you using? i.e. wireless, rj-45, thunderbolt 
-> rj-45, usb -> rj-45, usb -> rj-11 (dialup), etc etc.
