Program crashes after about 1500 ticks #563

After running for a little over 8000 ticks, my game crashes. Find out why this is happening and fix it.

I've added an assert on my branch in this commit that was triggered during a run (i.e. caused it to crash :boom:). Maybe that is the culprit?

It doesn't crash on an assert

oh i thought your qt was just randomly crashing whenever you started it

Update: it crashes after just 1500 ticks on at least my laptop and Richel's laptop. I can't test nor debug my work like this!

Also cows are super duper fast and go to the wrong grass idk what is going on anymore

I get to 15k+ ticks now!
