The current figure(s) show multiple medians:
I suggest to merge the medians into one, by taking the median of the entire distribution.
@Giappo: what do you think? If agree, want to tackle this?
No rush, so I'll assign @Giappo again. Sure, he is busy teaching now, but this Issue may be the warm bed he wants when ready to get back to work :+1:
