Hi, thanks for this plugin.

But doesn't work for me using m3u8 files.

Any idea how to do it?

Currently not, the project is kind of dead right now (I don't use the code anymore). Do you take a look to https://github.com/benjipott/video.js-chromecast/ from the commits this one is maintain they may have the feature.
