git clone (or git pull) is probably the 'best' way to install and update the script (if it is not hosted on a kodi repository), but i some configuration, git is not available at all (and not easily to install) (ie: mediacenters on RaspberryPi, using LibreELEC).
But there is an easy workaround i suggest to add in the Read me : using wget over SSH
Navigate to your .kodi/addons/ folder
Fetch the plugin : wget https://github.com/rickybiscus/plugin.video.auvio/archive/master.zip
