fixing.. look out for a 1.0.8.1
Just tried the latest 1.0.8.1 - firmware uploads for MaxDuino, DigiWavUino (note it reckons its 1.2.5.5 and not 1.2.5.7) and TZXduino 1.18 seem to be OK.
For MaxDuino Ultimate it only allows you to select the board Thinary Every. This maybe correct and this firmware does not work with UnoR3 - can you confirm?
For CASduino, ArduiTape and TZXduino 1.15.3 it only allows you to select Arduino UnoR3 and Nano v3 OLDBOOT - selecting UnoR3 though and it fails telling me to check the correct board is plugged.
Thanks for clarifying. I take it with MaxDuino, TZXduino 1.18 and Digiwavuino I should be able to support most/all platforms and formats.
Maxduino replaces both TZXDuino and Casduino and supports a ton of chips not supported by those 2.. Digiwavuino is similar to Arduitape with a few extra features.
Thanks - I'll be trying out Digiwavuino at some point because I have some stuff in WAV format.
1.0.8.2 looks broken again - It would only let me select Nano 3 which successfully programmed the Uno R3 board. The logo download allowed me to choose Uno R3. Note I have only tried Maxduino firmware - I am not sure what happens with board selection on the other firmware options.
@G4DDS can you send me a video... I just successfully flashed an Uno R3 with both logo and maxduino firmware.. And BTW its only the Maxduino firmware I support for Uno R3 . I added this feature to allow flashing of the Maxduino Uno HAT I sell. I have no interest in supporting TZXduino/CASduino. I left them in for legacy reasons.
I've found out that it you select the wrong firmware you have to close it down before the program behaves correctly again!
And a request - Is it possible to have an option to disable the music?
@G4DDS Not seeing what you posted last.. If I do steps 7.8 and then 9, I see Uno R3 ... TBH, Nano 3 and Uno R3 are the same, really, But still, I'm not seeing the issues you are reporting. I sell quite a few of the Uno kits and no one else has reported this issue. The only thing that I can think of is it is an environmental issue... maybe update your .NET framework https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2203305
I see you only mention steps 7, 8 and 9. What do you see at step 5 where I see that no boards can be selected?
Here's a video showing what happens on my system when I do the 9 steps above. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1D4YmNPX-EPM8YgqtilYYqIHiYJBdjHRb/view?usp=sharing
It was too big to attach so I had to share it via my Google drive - hopefully that's worked.
I have a genuine Arduino Uno R3 and a clone Arduino Uno, however for both of them to program any of the firmware I have to select the board type as Nano v3 NEWBOOT. Selecting Uno R3 just fails telling me to check the correct board is plugged.
Observed on both versions 1.0.7.6 and latest 1.0.8.0 (not tried any others).
