Separate persisted list with predefined values #24

In addition to transient (or persistent) history of recent commands I have some "long constant texts" that I use quite often (e.g. my.very.long.name@some.even.longer.domain.ltd). It would be very useful to be able to have a dedicated persisted list that would be possible to call with a keyboard shortcut to select the value (e.g. CTRL+META+P and 1,2,3... - or just choose from the list with arrows).

The current persistent list you do select with arrows. How is this different (the arrow option)? I get the 1-2-3 bit. This seems to be a recurring request. So this would be a different list, maybe a separate list that comes up instead of what does now? Just thinking out loud here.
