Wonder if the project still alive and if the dependencies can work on more modern libraries?

Heya... This project is not as "alive" as I'd like it, but I will look into pull requests as needed.

What modern libraries are you thinking? This library was targeted largely towards Python 2.x, but it may be time soon to make the plunge into Python 3...

Hey, I also wonder if this cool project is still alive? Last commit was 2015 and there are some easy-to-fix typos...
