@daviseares Thank you for the report ragarding to Xcode 15. Kotlin and some libraries have to be updated. We will fix this issue in the next release.
@simago thank you! I'll be waiting for it :)
@daviseares I'm not an experienced Mac user. What's the best thing to do in these circumstances if people want to continue development with theta-client? Do you think I should downgrade to XCode 14?
It looks like I can download XCode 14.3.1 from the link below...
https://developer.apple.com/download/all/?q=xcode
I have not installed it yet.
Unfortunately, to use Xcode 14, you need to be on a previous version of macOS, Ventura. This solves the issue for now until Kotlin gets updated. However, it may create another problem in the future because after some time, Apple tends to reject applications developed with outdated Xcode.
My recommendation is to update the Kotlin Multiplatform version asap, so that it becomes compatible with Xcode 15.
Another option for Xcode 15 users is to build the Theta SDK using macOS Ventura and Xcode 14, then copy the build folder into the original project where macOS Sonoma and Xcode 15 are. It worked for me.
@daviseares thanks for this information. I've already updated my macOS to Sonoma and don't have easy access to a Mac running Ventura. Note that I don't work for RICOH. I'm a user of the SDK. I'll wait for the SDK to be updated for Sonoma and Xcode 15.
It works with theta-client 1.6
I think its solved now versions > 1.6 . Thanks for your help! Best regards!
When trying to run the command
./gradlew podPublishXCFramework
I am encountering the following error:
