Limitting Favorite Checking Speed #1214

Favorite checking for mangadex got me banned

How to reduce the speed/task for favorite checking?

My default settings are:

1 Number of downloaded tasks at the same time
2 Number of downloaded files per tasks at the same time

And for mangadex:

1 MaxTaskLimit
2 MaxThreadPerTaskLimit
2 MaxConnectionLimit
1 UpdateListNumberOfThread And I set a "UserAgent" same as i'm using now.

Not banned since mangadex opened. Haven't tried updating list for a while though.

Using something like download speed reducer might work.

I just went to Options -> Websites -> Advanced -> Mangadex and set everything to 1. Slower than before but I haven't been banned yet.

I also copied the Useragent and cookies that my browser was using on the site. You can get these by opening Developer Tools -> Networking, click on any item in the list that appears, click "Edit and Resend" and then under "Request Headers" copy everything after "User-Agent:" and "Cookie:"

worked for few days but banned again now

even if you reduce the speed, if your manga list nearing 1000, you'll still get banned eventually lol

You have 1000 manga on mangadex? I think you should split them at least.
