kissmanga doesnt work right now it can get new chapters but fails to download the said chapters

Kissmanga is up again. So what do I add when I enable proxy? So what do I choose as type, what do I enter into host, which port and what username and password?

It seems they want to changing key so i suggest we should add a variable for key so user will set them and download them without changing hardcoded key.

Seems like you have different kind of encryption. Maybe the encryption set by cloudflare automatically. So, different region which is using different server will get different encryption. Can you open the chapter in your browser, save as complete webpage then zip and post here. append the extension with .txt, github had and issue with zip. Just to be sure also in working reader view, open your console (inspect element>console), and type chko. post the result here.

@riderkick those series were downloading successfully for me it stop downloading now and tried many series same error.

As I suspected it was different. The init vector might be different as well.

Try this, set the key and iv accordingly. Open console on your active reader (inspect element>console) in your browser. For key type chko. For iv type CryptoJS.enc.Hex.stringify(iv). Copy the result without quote. (compiled for win32, you need the right dll) fmd.7z.txt

I'm not sure if the key and iv fixed on certain region. Or it will be randomly changed on each series. Please try more.

ok it's working now, thanks @riderkick the manga downloads I've left there for the last few days, some of which were in failed status, are all downloading okay now, didn't need to refresh the download links

okay... been downloading some (a lot). There are a few chapters that didn't downloaded but the others were fine. If you guys wanna test, it's Fuuka 141&144 and Wasureyuki 000

I also have a new problem after the update. Whenever I want to maximize Free Manga Downloader the confirmation windows pops up and is asking me if I want to close the application. When I deselect the "Show dialog confirmation for Exit FMD" it automatically closes Free Manga Downloader when I want to maximize. Did I fuck something up in the settings or did the update change something so that maximize is the same as pressing on the red X? I don't know if I should opne a new issue.

Odd, I cant find my chko at all in console, I tried Opera (which is just chromium) and Firefox. Go onto kissmanga, pick a random series and go to a page. Nothing shows up for Chko. Maybe I'm missing something.

@Thrieze Try downloading Chrome and using the console there. Shouldn't really matter, but it's a one-minute issue that might help. I made a gif in case you're concerned about missing anything. chkodemo

Sorry, I didnt mean the key itself, more the string you need to put into the console to get the keys.
