replacing Twitter #153

Sorry, I understand this does not belong here, but it may also not belong
to support@jaiku.com so I'm just looking for places to throw out an idea.

So, why not mirroring every twitter functionality (lists, RT, trends, all
that stuff) and being able to post to it and read from it, for compatibility?

I mean, if I could use Jaiku as a twitter client, just like many others, I
definitely would! And this could be a way for people migrate to it, slowly.

Get my new tweets replicated in Jaiku little by little, maybe start getting
older ones till where it's possible. I would support this and I believe
there are enough people keen to do it as well.

Because I started hating twitter for being restrictive! They are not
showing stuff, breaking down too much, deleting repeated tweets, and so on,
and so on, in purpose!

Well, hope this idea, or anything similar, will catch on so I can just drop
Twitter for something better. Thanks for reading!
