reMarkable screen not shown on computer screen #27

This is an amazing project, great work and glad you shared it with the community!

I followed the instruction (apart from installing lz4) and for some reason the screen is not showing up for me. Here's the log from my terminal:

My reMarkable software version is 2.2.0.48 Trying it on Ubuntu 18.04

It seems that there's an error in the log:

X Error of failed request:  BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)

What could be the possible culprit?

That's an odd error. After searching a bit, I've found that nvidea/nouveau drivers might be the issue. I'm unfortunately not familiar with troubleshooting those, but please share if you find a solution.

Thanks for the help @rien, it seem that reinstalling the nvidia drivers worked for me. Thanks for the awesome tool!
