Vqmod. OpenCart 1.5.6 not working #145

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
When I'm installing Vqmod the installer says 'UPGRADE COMPLETE' and not
'INSTALLED SUCCESFULL'. Rights are 777 all over the place ;-), so what's wrong?
I tried 755 also, but Vqmod isn't working.

And...when I'm trying to run the installer again, it says: Parse error: syntax
error, unexpected '/' in ...wwwroot\vqmod\install\index.php on line 93

Sounds like you've not uploaded all files correctly. There's no error in the
installer (otherwise there would be a lot more issues posted about it or the
41,000+ downloads have all had it and not been reported ;-) )
Are you even on a linux install? If not, then there's no way you have 777 or
755 permissions and by the look of your error path it's a windows machine

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '/' in ...\vqmod\install\index.php on
line 93 appears on Windows Machines if you run them 3 times.

SUCCESSFUL for the first time.

What web server are you running? I can't seem to replicate this issue on
windows. The "Upgrade Complete" message is correct if you had a previous
install of vQmod

I got the same error as "syntax error, unexpected '/' in
...\vqmod\install\index.php on line 93."
My site is hosted on ARVIXE,and the server is Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
Standard.
