Joined the code that displays the image scaled proportionally.

it took me a while to work out what you had changed - your explanation was quite
brief. Can I check what this is meant to be doing? The way I see it, it's meant 
to be
resizing the image so that it simply scales it down rather than cropping?

you may want to look at the patch provided in the issue #78
It applies cleanly and did the trick, anyway I didn't review this file
