K8 versus Azure ASE #365

Why are 15 nodes in ASE Azure gcp 2 nodes front end as loadbalancers ?

gcp allows to create any required number of pods and a load balancer should have at least two elements, but the number is not limited to that amount of elements Regarding ASE Azure - it seems to have notions as workers and frontend.
