Single quotes are not handled appropriately #92

E.g. for the Italian translation (68e1b1c8ca935296c8e04c59e030c91b2e69afbe), there are single quotes (') in the properties file. (See more on Stack Overflow.)

Translators shouldn't have to escape the quotes themselves, especially given that we have to run native2ascii. Perhaps we could have something to run a similar transformation before we commit the properties files here?
