ccdo in V1.2.13 does the period selection through mcdo.py #168

and this can be an issue when using ccdo on a climatology (time average) : cdo doesn't find the period and returns an error. To be discussed.

Alternative: using ccdo_fast. It works, but too complicated for a 'non-expert' user.

If PR #164 ("select nicely") was merged, this wouldn't happen on climatologies that are computed by CliMAF (and then are present in cache). Other (external) climatologies should be described as fixed fields : this makes sense and should avoid period selection (but I may be wrong here)
