I ran the tests on Ciclad. Some fail (in example_data_plot), but they also fail with V2.0.2. One of the failure (that occurs more than once) is due to a strange behaviour of Ncl function closest_val, which returns an array index which is larger tan the maximum index value.... I was not able to reproduce that behaviour in a simpler context
