Did you try to load the save? Loading the save did reproduce the problem. I mean, it was just fighting with this boss.

If I overwrite save0 with this continuesave file, it becomes unwinnable, the red grub doesn't appear at all, however, when issue was first triggered, red grub rolled in the corner constantly and was stuck before entering the scene. Maybe going to red grub boss and overwriting continuesave will reproduce it, I didn't try it yet.
