I've tested this on Firefox (version 26) and Chromium (version 31.0.1650.63). Popovers do not work when run as JavaScript from Dart Editor.

In Dartium. clicking on a popover button inserts a div with the popover content into the page but this does not happen on Firefox or Chromium.

I have made a pull request that fixes this issue.
