Can't do anything beside close the app from multitasking. (tested with multiple roms, same issue with all).

Edit: Same issue occurs with all skins besides default skin.

I had that same issue. Quit out open it back up and switch the skin to a diffrent one. It should work after that. It seems this was an updating issue.

More testing:

I switched to the default controller skin. Issue solved.
Then I switched back to the wood skin. Issue came back. Just an issue with the skin I guess?
Must close app from multitasking to be able to use any skin other than default.
All skins besides default are broken, too.
Doesn't let you switch skins (disregarding the fact they're all broken) when a rom is already running in the background.

Similarly, my iPad mini refuses to show any skin or controller layout whatsoever making the games unplayable. They show up as if they were videos. And I tried closing app in multitasking, as well as restarting it but the result was the same.

This should be just an updating issue. Only the default skin has been updated to the new format, I'll resend the other ones today. iPad is a similar issue; it's trying to load the old skins. If you delete the skins folder and relaunch everything should work fine.
