In-Game save broken on Super Mario World #55

Just what the title says, the in-game saving has been broken for Super Mario World (Super Mario Advance 2) since updating to the newest version. I can access the save file from before updating, but it won't let me overwrite it.

I thought I was the only one (and my own ROM). So it seems to be the update, then?

I'm guessing. However, I've had the same issue for a while on Yoshi's Island before this new update.
