Feature Request: low power mode #4

I would like to see a power down function for when that disables all voltage 
boot and puts the display into a low power mode.

Hi,
the datasheet for the display-controller states an operating current of less 
then 500 micro (not! milli) ampere. 
The library is written for the Arduino which does not support any of the 
powerdown commands on the ATMega. So the Arduino board alone burns something 
like 30mA.

I don't see any use for a power-down feature for the display in this 
environment.
