Interesting, can you give an example? The "Ringcon to analog Stick" option puts the Ringcon push and pull on the vertical axis of the right analog stick of the virtual X360 controller. For games where you dont need movement, you should be able to assign the controls to just the right analog stick and ignore the values from the left stick which the gyro controls. Alternatively you could use the "Run unlocks gyro" option and then not run, this would disable the gyro.
I have very bad RSI issues and therefore can't really use controls where continuous fine movement of fingers is required (so mostly no buttons, sticks etc). I already have a setup where I control games with vocal sounds, facial expressions and eye tracking (somewhat similar to what is shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwN5ttEm7nc). Using the ring con to have four more inputs (heavy/light push/press) would help me greatly. I guess my use case is rather specific, but being able to disable the accelerometer (which is hard to ignore if you are more interested in the other controls) might be useful to other people as well.
You are right though the "run unlocks gyro" option is already what I need.

Hey, thanks for creating such a great project!
For many games I'm only interested in using the push-pull functionality of, the ring con. It would be great to be able to disable the gyroscope controls of the joystick via a setting.
