Wow, this issue was opened yesterday and cuz there's no answer for around ~20 hours you're asking if the package still maintained?! 😄I'm surprised, but anyway yes! It's maintained!!
Please make sure to use the develop branch as it's the most up to date branch, and note that the package isn't tagged as stable yet. Also it's tested only with MySQL and should be working fine with MariaDB, but it's not tested or officially supported so you've to check for yourself, sorry.
