Hello everyone !

Hope I am not off topic or abusing any policies here… I am trying to set up my Pioneer VSX-S520D receiver on my Homey Pro (2023)

I have searched around on various forums, but couldn’t figure it out : My receiver is installed but is always on error with « device unavailable » message (or whatever the message is in English !)

I have checked the IP, and the telnet port is 8102…

Is there anything I am missing ?

Did you try to readd your device? Does it find the device automatically?

Some devices do not support port 8102 but require port 23.

Hello !

(Sorry, I am not very familiar to all those developper stuff !) I tried to remove the device, remove the app and do it all again.

The device is automatically detected and installed, but when I try to do any control, it says "Not connected with device", and when I exit and go back on the device, it says it is unavailable with a /!\ red sign on it

I tried to read the Homey forum thread, and tried to launch the https://192.168.3.50:8080/description.xml command, it times out ! (192.168.3.50 is the IP, I checked it on the receiver menu)

I also tried to put another tell port (23) but it times out also...

Ok,

Thanks for your help !

I succeeded using the Onkyo app and the 60128 telnet port… Its works flawlessly. unfortunately, the « select input » feature I was mostly interested in is not available on the Onkyo app !

thanks anyway, and if you want me to test something on my receiver, just say it !
