cursor reacts like something is happening for a split second, but no ripme starts up

can you please try to start in on command line with: java -jar "....path to your ripme.jar"

and paste what is the otuput?

It works now. The message I got was that read class 61 files, and this was a 64 file. So I redownloaded java sdk, and now it works. Thanks for reminding about that console command.
