Can you check if the secret changed as well? Please try creating a new wallet with the same secret as the second wallet had originally and see if you can recover the funds.

The secrets are secret. They're only stored encrypted in the wallet and on paper when the wallet is created.
@adaptive I only created two accounts. I check it many times before I send it. Its new created account, first its ripple address is rPJWoijcSwAbsvSj5BdTnPGK4NtorNSHtK , but after I send and open again the new the account, I wonder why I don't recieved the funds to my amazement its new address is rhNiJ1yLfJtSKxxpsSR4jzbhFdvpSvVJjQ . This a serious bug if this happens to others. @JoelKatz I created new wallet using the same username and different passphrase. And I use the secret, unfortunately I still did not recover the funds.
I just noticed now there are black noticed saying "offline". What does this mean? Is there a chance I can still recover the ripples I sent?

Can anyone explained what really happened to my account who received the payment I send? After I created the new account. I copy paste all the details and to save into a notepad, I'm extremely sure about it check it more than 3 times. But I the ripple address changed after I open it again. You can check via team viewer if you are interested. I was very excited when wake up and received my ripples given by OpenCoin , but I'm really disappointed now after this happen to me. I don't like this to happen to other users. Please take this seriously this is a serious bug.

@jasonslow You need to give us more information. There is no way for us to verify anything with out an account, a time, or an amount. Some clues please?
Is the secret shown for the account currently the same secret as when you made the account?
Please try creating a new account and specifying the same secret you wrote down. Does the same address show up? Do you have your balance?
Same issue here. First time user of Ripple, opened an account, paid $40 for 10,000XRP, they were sent to the address show in my account: r3M7ECWvmM8rSMfi5J3Ph377PUJSAmvz2S after nothing showed up, I logged out and back in, and now my address has changed to: rhsPzeyDc9DQn9Xq4NPVUdmiyWVngyt1Mr
Still the 10,000XRP do not show up.

@jasonslow unfortunately no ideas. The secret is the one thing that matters. That's why you should back it up. And, why you're prompted to.

So, if the accounts are lost does that mean we won't get our XRP back? First time user who loses $40 due to no fault of their own really isn't making me want to recommend this crypto to any one.

Let us know if the new address is rPJWoijcSwAbsvSj5BdTnPGK4NtorNSHtK, and if you have your money.
If the new address is rhNiJ1yLfJtSKxxpsSR4jzbhFdvpSvVJjQ, then please confirm that the secret key you wrote down when creating "jheyslow" is the same as the secret key for last registered account.

I already done this two times. The new address is rhNiJ1yLfJtSKxxpsSR4jzbhFdvpSvVJjQ not rPJWoijcSwAbsvSj5BdTnPGK4NtorNSHtK . The same secret key I wrote down in the last registered account.
I chatted with vhpoet on skype and told me to record it on video.

Jason, be more patient, as this are normal issues in beta releases. Don't use the words "immediately", etc, as they are doing the best they can.

For some odd reason, I have no access to issue #454 and issue #470.
it was a problem in github. I contacted the support and they solved it.

Hey I think I encounter a bug in the ripple system. When I send 19800 ripple from my account rnN1Kb5fZUSkRUWgnmdLahoShTskcBYNCB and send to the new account I created because I cannot change the password, first this is the ripple address rPJWoijcSwAbsvSj5BdTnPGK4NtorNSHtK but after I send to that ripple address and I opened to my amazement the new account has new ripple address and I did not able to received the ripple that I send because it changed and has new address now rhNiJ1yLfJtSKxxpsSR4jzbhFdvpSvVJjQ .
Can you somehow traced it what happened? Because I did don't why the ripple address changed. Can you tell where I send it?
