7 years ago Ok, here is a rough list of images and videos I compiled from Pixabay that should work for most circumstances associated with the weather symbols depicted with the weather plugin. Comprehensive it most certainly isn't, but this would give a rough starting point to begin with.
Here is the list, there will be a couple of duplicates, simply because the image/video would work for both situations:
*Edit: It was easier to just upload the .txt file instead of copying and pasting the list over, as some odd formatting happened when I did that.
Going along with one of the suggestions in the enhancement list, I have started looking into how a background could be applied to the, now currently white, background of the forecast area. I was thinking that two options could work. We could either just have it be a static background image, or we could get fancy and have it be a video background! https://pixabay.com is great for this sorta thing, because they have a large selection of both images and videos released under a CC-0 licenses, meaning the works are in the public domain.
Which ever choice you like, static image or video, is totally fine with me! I'll start searching through the site and collecting a sample of images and videos that would work for the different weather types. I'll post a list with some samples when I have them collected and let you look at them! 🙂
