Sponsorblock is another addon that shows sponsored segments in the player seek bar. It would be cool if comment timestamps were displayed above sponsorblock segments in the z order to make them clickable (because segments are longer and can be clicked even if they're lower).
Sorry if this isn't the right scope, but sponsorblock is a really popular addon so there might be some popular will toward a patch like this anyway.
