Whether root.bin is stilled needed for the latest riscv-linux?

Hello,

I find that the way to generate root.bin is deleted in README. While the fpga-zynq still use root.bin in SD.

Therefore I want to confirm whether root.bin will interfere the booting of linux.

Please tell me and thanks a lot!
