What new or enhanced feature are you proposing?

A facility to update all tiles in a repository

What goal would this enhancement help you achieve?

I often build up a frequently used tile repository using a combination of the 
manual method plus downloads. It would be useful to update the entire 
repository periodically, without having to repeat the manual steps (which force 
update requires).

This can clearly result in a large download if the DB is large, so perhaps a 
warning is needed prior to execution.

You should look into the command line download tool, with that tool you can 
build really advance batch downloads to suit all your need, attached are a 
couple of examples.
