Which part(s) of the docs might be affected or should be updated? And how?

Hello RisingWave team,

I wanted to bring to your attention a small but important update needed in your FAQ section here https://risingwave.com/faq/

Currently, the FAQ states the following under the "How does RisingWave compare with Materialize" question:

"RisingWave is a distributed and persistent streaming database; Materialize is a single-node, in-memory streaming database."

This information used to be accurate, but it no longer reflects the current state of Materialize. Materialize has evolved and is now a distributed and persistent streaming database too. The single-node offering is no longer available.

Would it be possible to update the FAQ to reflect this change? Accurate comparisons are crucial for users making informed decisions.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for the great work you do with RisingWave!

Best, The Materialize team

Hey @petrosagg - thank you for bringing this to our attention. You're right; the FAQ page was created about two years ago and may no longer accurately reflect the current status of different systems. We will have an internal discussion to decide how to update the page. Here are a few things that come to my mind immediately:

We will think about how to proceed.

Thanks again, Yingjun
