What to do with "Key / Mode"? #102

The "Key or Mode" subfield is given in 031 for MARC, and the original Brook / Gould papers indicated that the key signature could hold an indication of the key, independent of the key signature.

Do we want to include a description of the "Key and/or Mode" in PAE? Or should we now consider this to be external to the spec?

(I'm leaning towards considering it out-of-scope now. It's fine if it's in the 031, but shouldn't be in PAE.)

I guess I could live without this in the PAE specs. Otherwise the values to be accepted here should be predefined to some extent, and there are just so many possible types of music potentially encoded in PAE that this would prove an impossible venture.

It will still be in MARC21. I haven't checked UNIMARC, but I guess it would be similar.
