- clear search bar
- maybe focus on search bar is good enough?
- maybe focus on search bar also fully selects it
- kind of a drastic optimisation. probably start with focus on search bar, then go through use case testing
- toggle shortname mode
- clear in rename field
- maybe not needed, if it focuses then that might be good enough? see through use testing
- esc to deselect
