HTML defines the structure of a web page. Drawing analogy to the human body, HTML is the skeleton, CSS is the muscle and tissue, and JavaScript/TypeScript is the brain that drives behavior.
Tess created a getting started guide for HTML, available here.
I also recommend checking out the official Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) docs page on learning HTML, available here.
Taking it further, our project uses React.js. For the structure of a web page, React uses a markup language called JSX, which allows us to write HTML-like syntax in a javascript/typescript file, and use js/ts directly inside of our "HTML" markup. If you're at the stage where you are ready to learn this, then check out the basic tutorials for React and JSX on react.dev.
