This is going to take a while, so this may turn into a meta issue. Also, what I'm writing here is half placeholder and half some existing ideas we threw around. This is subject to change, so feel free to comment.

• discuss planning
• discuss update SSE branding
• create desktop mockup
• create mobile mockup
• choose front-end libraries (if necessary)
• prototype/branch with new design
• have a beta/stage for the new design
• deploy

  Goals

• mobile support (responsive or with separate themes)
• make frequently used information easier to access
