Google Chrome keeps crashing with /gtv #29

When I have a chance, I'm going to try running this in Chrome on my computer and seeing if it crashes. If so, I'm curious if profiling would produce any interesting results.

I'm not reproducing this on Windows? Or is there more to this?

nickserv commented 10 years ago

Not sure, I assume this is an issue with performance on certain platforms and JavaScript engines. I'll try it out on Mac OS in a bit.

There is more to this. For context: Basically all day today, the Mac mini google chrome has been crashing every so often while running /gtv. I think chrome may have updated and something weird is now going on. It's very unlikely we are going to be able to consistently reproduce the error nor do I think it is a bug with torque or crazy-train.

Is it a SIGSEV or a recoverable crash? If it's a segfault, can we harvest a core dump to look at? (Maybe we can identify a problem in v8 or something)

I reinstalled Chome, and it seems to have fixed itself. I'm going to reopen this if it crashes again.
