Hi Rithvik,

I was one of the few who were assigned with 2 people from the same team. So, I decided to review your project. And I am glad that I did. You and Rongchu did an amazing job – You not only met all the basic requirements but also went the extra mile by doing some very interesting queries.

First, you created a pie chart to show the proportions of vacant and non-vacant properties in the overall Baton Rouge real estate market. Then you looked for seasonality in transfer months. I was surprised to see January as the busiest transfer month. I would have thought that there would be fewer transfer activities in the winter.

I loved the fact that you used the “psycopg2” Python package to query the cities that pay the highest tax. Perhaps you could have ranked the cities by median property tax (taxable_parish / COUNT of property-number)? I was piqued by your query result and googled the city of Zachary. Overall, you demonstrated great technical abilities and creativity! -Dan
