Yes I know, probably not possible to rip directly from Spotify. It seems there is no software that can rip HQ music from Spotify directly, so it's 320 kbit/s. Most downloaders like this one rip from YT, instead. For a lot of people this will be a down-side, because quality is lost that can be noticed with expensive ear phones. I happily pay for Spotify premium and it is obvious that one needs to pay premium to source HQ music. I'm looking for a true downloader, because some music gets deleted for licensing issues or censored for various reasons and I wish to keep backups as long as they are still on Spotify.
The Sidify Pro proprietary paid software offers HQ download through recording, so maybe this is an alternative. YouTube is just not a reliable source, not just due to its poor quality, but also for skits in some music videos where no alternative is available in mid audio quality.
I searched the web, nobody found a solution and I think Spotify would attempt to fix it, if it was possible, but I would like to have your thoughts about that.
A few people recommend to download directly from Deezer instead, since it's easier and offers HQ as well. Maybe it could attempt to get a HQ version from Deezer and if Deezer is missing the file offer to fallback to YouTube or manual recording like Sidify attempts to do?
What is the purpose of your issue?
