Opening the jar by double clicking doesn't always work.

Thank you for your report. However, we believe this is not an issue with the product itself.

This is more so an issue with the operating system, such as Windows or Mac, that is being used.

More precisely, this is a well-known security feature of macOS which prevents you from running applications downloaded from the internet that have not been notarised by Apple on the App Store.

To resolve this issue, you can follow the guide in the link provided above (Open System Settings, click on Privacy and Security, scroll down and click on 'Open Anyway').
