Error on proper syntax VS Code Live Sass Compiler #462

Compilation Error Error: Invalid CSS after "$grid-width": expected 1 selector or at-rule, was ": 114rem; " on line 5 of sass/c:\aaacss\scss\abstracts_variables.scss from line 3 of sass/c:\aaacss\scss\main.scss

$grid-width: 114rem; ^

The compiler keeps giving me errors on proper CSS syntax

This extension is no longer maintained. I wasn't able to replicate the issue on my updated and maintained version. You can install it from the marketplace via https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=glenn2223.live-sass
